Enclosed

Made to integrate

Enclosed tunnels are the best solution to ensure flying activity indoors, e.g., shopping malls, family entertainment centres, sport centres etc.

The recirculation channel of the wind tunnel suppresses the airflow noise and ensures that it doesn’t interfere with the surrounding environment.

Thus you can bring flying to the centre of a shopping mall or surprise customers at a family entertainment centre.

WEATHER INDEPENDENT

This technology allows customers to enjoy the most comfortable flying experience in any weather conditions.

Our climate control system is a solution for both – cold winters and hot summers. It adjusts the airflow temperature and ensures pleasant flying experience.

With enclosed tunnels you can serve customers on rainy and windy days and professionals can master their skills during night time.

HIGH SPEED

The quality of the airflow is the key characteristic of enclosed tunnels. And AERODIUM has found the right recipe for making it strong and smooth.

The speed of the wind stream can reach up to 300 km/h in our enclosed tunnels, which gives flyers endless opportunities for flying skill development.

At the same time the smoothness of airflow provides beginners a pleasant flying experience, allowing them to progress at a very fast pace.

SUPERIOR QUALITY

Indoor skydiving is an extraordinary experience and our goal is to make it unforgettable. For many people this is a bucket list activity and a premium look and feel enhances their emotions and impressions.

Providing such an environment and experience will also guarantee returning customers as well as word-of-mouth marketing for long-term success.

We are designing and manufacturing our technology in the European Union. Our production meets all EU quality standards and are compatible with high quality requirements of other regions.

SUPERIOR SAFETY

AERODIUM enclosed tunnels are equipped with patented, industry-leading safety features.

  • Impact Reduction System. Our latest invention turns the safety net at the bottom of the flight chamber into a trampoline as impact absorption surface in cases of high falls.
  • Fly Wheel Technology. A heavy steel hub for fan blades ensures higher air inertia in case of power outage and provides flyers with sufficient airflow for a safe landing.
  • Carbon fan blades. We use highly durable carbon blades that do not fatigue. (In contrast, fans with metal blades are prone to fatigue and are likely to brake and damage the technology).

FAQ

Is indoor skydiving similar to real skydiving?

Indoor/outdoor skydiving is a ‘skydiving simulator’. That means it gives you an experience as close as possible to real skydiving. The body responds to the air in the same way as it does when you jump from an airplane, where you can use your arms and legs to turn and move around.

On the other hand, you do not experience a true fall. Resistance to the airflow that is able to hold you above the ground is subject to a certain amount of body effort. Indoor skydiving is great fun, but it is cannot substitute the amazing views, which you can admire during skydiving. At the same time, people who are afraid of heights would rather enjoy flying in a controlled environment.

What is the capacity of Aerodium vertical wind tunnels?

Vertical wind tunnels have a maximum capacity of 25 flights per hour with a flight time of 2 minutes per person.

Passive Capacity: Spectators love watching people fly in wind tunnels, including acrobatic tricks by pro flyers. The entertainment value of this attraction makes it the perfect anchor for alternative revenue sources like food and beverage, retail products, sponsorship opportunities, and corporate and competitive events.

Franchise or outright ownership?

You have a choice between both – franchising and outright ownership. With outright ownership, you have more freedom to operate the business as you wish. The downside is that it will require a much deeper involvement and building your own brand. In the franchise option, you would get a full support package and the renowned Aerodium branding, which both will facilitate running the business.

Testimonials

  • Reinis Rūtentāls Skydive Latvia

“We are bringing about 90% of our students to the wind tunnel before the actual jumps from plane. AFF students can practice at a low and safe height, learn a lot of small details and movements which will benefit later for the skydiving, plus the training time in the tunnel is much longer than freefall time. It’s also less stressful for me as I already know how each student adapts to airflow.”
