AERODIUM was tasked to be the general contractor for the Latvian pavilion at the World EXPO in 2010 with a solution that merges technology with nature. Together with architectural elements that represent the forest, sea, and land, AERODIUM embodied the element of wind with a spectacular flying people show.
It was the world’s first recirculation wind tunnel with a fully transparent glass flight chamber at “World EXPO” in Shanghai, China, 2010. AERODIUM presented flight shows every 30 minutes during a period of 6 months. It became one of the TOP 10 most visited pavilion at the EXPO.
