Skydiving is simulated with the help of vertical wind tunnels. They come in different shapes and sizes; nevertheless, there are two most common types:

– blower/air pusher tunnels are independent of any type of external structure and can be placed outdoors.

– sucker/vacuum wind tunnels are completely dependent on the external structures, which hold the air fans. The fans can be placed either on top or at the bottom of the flying chamber.
