Weight limits are set in place for the safety of the flyer and the instructor, usually ranging from 110kg to 140kg, and are different in each facility. The flight instructor’s main job is to keep everyone safe, which at times, could require spotting and catching.

Wind speeds are manually controlled by each facility. Therefore, there is no weight minimum. Smaller flyers are not in danger of receiving too much wind for their body size.
