Extraordinary projects that truly embrace the idea of flying.

Building on a show stage, cruise ship, skyscraper, you name it! Nothing is an obstacle for our engineers and flying acrobats. We love challenges, and we truly enjoy creating designs that have never been made before.

If you have an idea, we will make your dream come true.

Flying monks

“Flying Dream” is a spectacle, which combines architecture, centuries-old traditions, and technology. On sacred Mount Shongshang, “The Centre of Heaven and Earth”, over 200 kung-fu masters, singers, dancers, and flying monks amaze spectators with an incredible show.

The wind tunnel features a unique open-air flight zone, where aerial acrobats can soar up to 15 meters high during performances, and an enclosed flying area for safe customer flights, making the dream of flight accessible to everyone.

WORLD EXPO

AERODIUM was tasked to be the general contractor for the Latvian pavilion at the World EXPO in 2010 with a solution that merges technology with nature.

It was the world’s first recirculation wind tunnel with a fully transparent glass flight chamber at “World EXPO” in 2010.

AERODIUM presented flight shows every 30 minutes during a period of 6 months. 10 000 people visited the pavilion every day and it became one of the TOP 10 most visited pavilions at the EXPO.

Peter Pan Musical

Spectators had to pinch themselves as they watched Peter Pan fly above the stage without wires for the musical Peter Pan – The Never Ending Story.

AERODIUM designed and manufactured a custom wind tunnel, provided stunt doubles, custom flight equipment, and training for the show.

Latest technologies not only ensure that the open wind tunnel can be operated inside premises but also a possibility to build it into the stage, less noise, better visibility, and only 5 hours of the installation time.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN

We created a custom made, themed flying show solution for Disneyland Shanghai’sEye of the Storm: Captain Jack’s Stunt Spectacular

A 30-minute long show with flying people is the high point of the spectacle. The show features one-of-a-kind open-recirculation wind tunnel technology built right into the show stage.

AERODIUM designed, manufactured, and implemented the “Storm” show solution and with continuous technical support & maintenance continues to amaze spectators with no downtime since 2016.

“We always wanted to create a ‘real’ raging tornado on stage and have live performers fight in the vortex! The challenge was finding a company with the sophistication and expertise to do something never done before.  We found a perfect partner in Aerodium.  Millions have been (and are being) “wowed” by what they created!”
