AERODIUM completes wind tunnel at WORLD EXPO 2010
AERODIUM, manufacturer of vertical wind tunnels, has completed construction of closed recirculation wind tunnel for indoor skydiving and bodyflight at WORLD EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, China.
The closed recirculation wind tunnel by AERODIUM is the main attraction of the Latvian pavilion. Through the latest technological advances, people can now fly in both a figurative and literal sense. Flight embodies the harmony, happiness and creative energy that people have always pursued!
Each hour professional AERODIUM flyers present show for visitors of pavilion in the huge flight glass cylinder.
Each of the pavilion’s guests have a chance to win a free flight in the vertical wind tunnel. By participating in an interactive quiz using touch-screens, visitors may learn some interesting facts about Latvia and win a free flight!
Each flight is filmed by two video cameras and automatically edited, mixed with music and sent to the email address of flyer afterwards.
Three wind tunnels are located on the roof of the pavilion. During the evening hours on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays professional team of AERODIUM flying acrobats are going up into the night sky, high above the EXPO grounds. The flying show is complemented with thematic music and light show.
